For emergency cleaning, REACT is your one-stop-shop solution

When organisations need emergency cleaning, REACT Specialist Cleaning is a one-stop-shop even over the festive season.

REACT is available even over the festive period to deal with a range of different cleaning emergency situations.

With the festive season nearly upon us, we’ve all got a lot to think about. For many organisations, this includes being able to provide as close to a normal service as possible. But even in the usual run of things, there are sometimes circumstances beyond anyone’s control that require a rapid cleaning response. We provide a one-stop-shop for emergency cleaning, and we’ll be available throughout the coming two-week holiday period too. In this blog, we’re taking a closer look at some of the areas where we can focus our efforts.

Emergencies on the road and rail networks

One of the most difficult and sensitive areas in specialist cleaning is providing a rapid response to road traffic accidents (RTAs) and railway trackside emergencies. REACT is one of the very few firms with cleaning specialists trained in dealing with trauma on the road and rail networks. In the aftermath of RTAs, we’ll focus on the safe removal of hazardous, biohazardous or pathological waste. We work with emergency services across the country., including cleaning in the aftermath of serious injury and fatalities.

On the railways, our trauma teams can deal with tragic cases of human fatality or animal strike. At these difficult times, our team of highly trained, fully certified operators will provide a fast and respectful response in every situation. And in other emergency situations, for instance, faulty bathroom equipment in train carriages or spillages at train stations and maintenance depots, we’re on hand to provide fast, effective specialist cleaning. Train operators can take advantage of our one-stop-shop rail sector cleaning service.

Fire, flood and other fluids

For most companies, emergency cleaning usually comes in response to one of three events: fire, flood, and spillage. Here at REACT, we have teams who can deal with all those eventualities. If company premises are damaged by fire, lingering smoke damage and exposure to soot can be harmful to health. Prompt deep cleaning is vital for properties suffering smoke damage. This helps to address obvious damage, trapped soot and odours, and water and chemical damage from firefighting. Even if the fire was localised, smoke and soot can have travelled throughout the structure, affecting walls, carpet, upholstery and other items. We’ll be thorough in our approach to cleaning across a property.

When dealing with flood and sewage damage to properties, meanwhile, our priority will always be to remove excess water and/or waste. Once dry, we use leading-edge materials to clean and disinfect the affected areas thoroughly. And as for hazardous and/or biohazardous waste spillages, we’ll respond rapidly to clearing up hazardous materials representing an immediate risk to health. A spillage of any substance subject to COSHH regulations (The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) requires a specialist response to handle the clean-up and remove the waste which this generates.

Ad-hoc cleaning and Covid safety in healthcare and other settings

In hospitals and other healthcare facilities, there are plenty of situations that require an emergency cleaning response. We’re on hand for health both the NHS and private healthcare providers. And emergency vehicles may sometimes need emergency cleaning too, especially in cases where people being transported are ill or bleeding. We already work with several police authorities and their contract service providers to ensure the clean, safe and hygienic operation of their emergency vehicles.

During the pandemic, it’s particularly important to get cleaning right. Every employer has responsibilities towards their staff and contractors, and there needs to be a particular focus on working safely. In the event of a confirmed Covid-19 case, we provide first response cleaning that’s safe and effective. We react quickly, remove the risks, and reassure our clients that they can work safely. We deploy a methodology which gets to the heart of infection control: test, clean, disinfect and test again.

One-stop-shop cleaning responding to real-life situations

Santa Claus and his reindeer may use magic to clean up after themselves. But in the real world, we’re available even over the festive period to deal with specialist cleaning emergencies. Whatever economic sector you operate in, think of us as your one-stop-shop for emergency cleaning.

We’d like to take the opportunity to wish all our clients, staff and social media followers a very happy Christmas. And we’d like to say a special thank you to all the key workers around the country who’ll be looking after us during the festive season. Throughout 2020, you’ve been on the frontline keeping us safe, and your efforts are truly appreciated.
